Aqua Nirmal
Aqua Nirmal Safe Water Dispenser is a mobile unit especially designed for decentralised use in areas with limited supply of drinking water and allows to disinfect surface water. With a "high tech", but simple to use device, clear and hygienically safe water is produced.
The water runs just by gravity flow from the top of the tank to the tap located at the bottom and passes on its way a submerged ultrafiltration filter, that rejects bacteria and viruses.
Its special feature is that the filter is constantly cleaned with an air scour mechanism, that works with lowest energy consumption. Even if the filter is blocked after a long time of operation, it can be cleaned manually. For the electric power supply we recommend a small generator or solar panels.
The water is filled into the top of the pillar. This input of raw water is done manually or with a submerged pump directly from the water source. The rejected dirt is constantly withdrawn via a separate outlet.
Immediately after opening of the tap, the water is produced and the aerator for the filter cleaning starts automatically. Small air bubbles rise between the filter plates and instantly clean particles that stick to the membrane surface.
Aqua Nirmal ultrafiltration membranes can be cleaned manually and re-mounted on the site.
It works with the separation technology of submerged ultrafiltration. An ultrafiltration membrane rejects all particles and bacteria with 100%. Viruses can theoretically pass the membrane. But since they are for the very majority fixed to particles, the retention rate is very high (circa 1 : 100.000).
Ready for use within 1 hour, easy to transport, easy handling and maintenance, low energy demand, for decentralised solutions also in remote areas.
Aqua Nirmal ultrafiltration produces up to 165 litres of water per hour and is using raw water from wells, rivers, lakes or rainwater harvesting. It is also ideal to be connected to municipal tap water where it is not sure that it is safe or stable.
Ideal for producing cooking water in gastronomy or households; also to supply "samovar" operated coffee or tea preparation with safe raw water.
